The La Palmyre Resort is located in the town of Le Mathes, situated inland on limestone hills. The distance to La Palmyre is 3.5 km and to La Rochelle Airport 80 km. The beach is 4km away and all shops and amenities are close by.
The La Palmyre resort is set in the magnificent Royan pine forest with beautiful surroundings of the bay of Bonne Anse. The resort has a reception where English and French is spoken, bar with a terrace, heated pool from April to October and a restaurant offering buffet style meals. No pets are allowed and parking is free. Bread and pastries are sold during school holidays.
The resort has 183 new or refurbished apartments in one a two storey chalets spread over a 16-hectare pine forest. The one bedroom apartments in the "Les Cypr�s area are new single storey apartments with wooden terrace and garden furniture. The two bedroom apartments in the "Les Acacias" area are single or two storey chalets with either a wooden terrace or large balcony and garden furniture. The maximum occupancy for both types of apartments is 4 people. All the apartments are equipped with a kitchenette with ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge -freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and a toaster. The two bedroom apartments in "Les Acacias" have a separate wc.
From 04th of April to 02tnd of May, from 27/06 to 29th of August and from 24the October to 31st of October the resort offers evening entertainment: bar music and entertainment, shows, interactive games, dance evenings, karaoke and poker evening. Themed weeks: The Story of Chocolate from 04th of April to 02nd of May and the Bread Festival from 24th of October to 31st of October. Children and teenagers are catered for in age-specific clubs which offer organized activities for each group. In addition, the local area offers plenty of recreational activities such as: horse riding (500m), karting (1km) and quad biking (3km), sailing (4km), surfing school (8km) and 18 hole golf course (15 km). The Palmyre zoo is 4 km away.
Prices shown do not inclde bed tax, this is a small tax payable directly at the hotel. Refundable security deposit required upon check in. Impotant: The recepton is open on Saturdays from 08h00 to 12h00 and 14h00 until 20.00h.
