The Domain du Golf resort is situated in Saumur between Tours and Angers on the banks of the river Loire. It welcomes golf fanatics and nature lovers alike. The nearest airport is Angers Airport which is 55km from the resort.
This resort is set in the heart of a forest park covering 3 hectares and offers facilities such as a 9-hole golf course, a heated indoor swimming pool with outdoor paddling pool and bike rides. English and French is spoken at the reception area where tourist information and advice is on offer. There are various clubs on offer during the French school holidays which run from 04th of April to 02nd of May, 27th of June to 29th of August and 24th of to 31st of October. This includes a children's club for ages 3-10 years, a junior club for 11-13 years and a teen club for 14-17 years. Shows, sports and creative activities are arranged for the children's club and are all supervised by qualified and experienced activity leaders. For the junior and teen clubs sports, tournaments and evening activities such as discos are arranged. All children are looked after in secure areas where they can take part in activities suited to their age. There is evening entertainment for everyone including shows, interactive games, karaoke and dance evenings.
Accommodation at the resort consists of 104 new apartments(39square meters)all fully equipped and with terraces. All apartments are modern yet cosy and come equipped with garden furniture, a flat-screen television, heated towel-rails, a vacuum cleaner, a kitchenette with appliances and bathroom with shower and WC.
Activities on offer in the area include horse-riding around Saumur, visits to the ch�teaux of the Loire and discovering the Angevin vineyards and their troglodyte cellars. Water sports such as canoeing, rowing, sailing and water-skiing are on offer on the Loire. Introductory and advanced golf coaching lessons can be taken at extra charge at the Golf de Suamur golf course which is 150m from the resort. Bookings are made through the resort.
Prices shown do not include bed tax, this is a small tax payable directly at the hotel. Refundable security deposit required upon check in. Important: The reception is open on Saturdays from 8h00 to 12h00 and 14h00 until 20.00h. Please advise if your anticipate to arrive outside the reception opening hours so that a key collection can be arranged.
